1996 or 1995 Ford Bronco engine swap?

I plan on buying a bronco in the next few years probably 3 and wanted to know if the 2021 bronco 2.7L Ecoboost V-6 Engine would be good enough to replace the old bronco engine and if not what would you suggest I'm not worried about keeping it original just great to drive around and even off roading sometimes

Added (1). what engine would you suggest putting in?

I'm not so sure about the reliability of the 2021 ecoboost. We might have to wait a while for it to prove itself

Ford made sure that virtually all engines would bolt up, but the problem is that the engine compartment may have to be cut and modified, which would require making plates to keep out road water.

Since a 2021 Bronco hasn't been built yet, nobody knows.

1. We don't know if the Bronco is getting the 2.7L Ecoboost. Seeing how it's based on the Ranger, and the Ranger only offers inline engines (the engine bay will have to be redesigned to accommodate anything other than an inline engine). It's safe to assume that the new Bronco will also share the Ranger's engine.

2. If you're talking about an older Bronco, then the most cost effective engine to swap in would be one from the Windsor family. A 408/427W would work well.
