1995 ford bronco trains troubles?

I recently bought a 1995 ford bronco. Now the trans has been shifting really hard into every gear and even down shifts hard. It doesn't have this problem every time but when it is doing it you know. Also when the bronco starts to shift real hard the overdrive switch on the shifter will have a flashing off light. When I try to press the switch it doesn't do anything. I don't know much about transmissions and have no idea what is causing the truck to shift hard. So if someone knows what is going on if you could please tell me, Thanks

The light means a code auto zone can scan for the code they don't charge you for it. Could be a problem with the pressure control solenoid. You can also find local shop at ATRA.COM for more help/info

The flashing OD light is your trans telling you there's a issue take it to a trans shop not auto zone or to a dealer but auto zone can't help you with this issue its strictly a trans related

  • 2012 ford mustang troubles? Alright, so my mom has a 2012 ford mustang with a V-8 engine. When we're driving it randomly dies. There's no warning signs other than a quiet high pitched noise you can hear from the back seat only. When we tow it to the auto repair place they say "no codes came up when we ran the test". We've been to about 5 places-paying for every test. I'm sorry I don't know much.
  • Car Troubles, Steering wheel and dash shake when stopped? I just bought a 1995 ford contour recently and it had a couple problems. I replaced a Mass airflow sensor and plugs and now it runs great except however when I'm at like a stoplight or have to stop at all. When i stop, the car interior shakes like the steering wheel and dash it's pretty annoying. What's the problem?
  • Should I buy a ford bronco or Ford Explorer? Considering buying either a 1994 ford bronco Eddie Bauer 5.0 v8 or 1995 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer 4.0 v6 which is the better in your opinion?
  • 1996 or 1995 Ford Bronco engine swap? I plan on buying a bronco in the next few years probably 3 and wanted to know if the 2021 bronco 2.7L Ecoboost V-6 Engine would be good enough to replace the old bronco engine and if not what would you suggest I'm not worried about keeping it original just great to drive around and even off roading sometimes what engine would you suggest putting in?
