Bored of my car, should I sell my Ford Figo?
For a while now I've been considering selling my car. There's nothing wrong with it, that's why I'm asking you all.
Currently, I'm driving a 2012 Ford Figo 1.4 Ambiente which is standing at about 49000km. Besides a couple of tiny scratches from stones from the road or trucks in front of me, it's in pristine condition. Currently, my car can sell for about ZAR95,000. I can buy plenty decent used cars with that money.
I'm looking at cars like a Golf (MK4 or MK5) or something similar - something that is "bang-for'buck" and reliable.
Or, should I just ignore the temptation and stick with my Figo?
In 6 or so years, what will sell earier? A Golf MK4/5 or a Figo?
You will lose money on the transaction and will be gaining little other than a different look. The decision is yours.
Money-wise it is foolish to trade. But if you can afford it and in makes your life worth living again, go ahead. There's something to be said for passion.

- Should i sell my japanese car to feel more American? One day i woke up and i realized i was born in America, so it would make sense to drive an American car. It feels more natural. I own a Honda but i want to buy a Ford. But i don't know if this is a good decision because asian cars are more reliable than american cars. Is this a good decision or do you consider this stupid, just a phase, and unnecessary in your opinion? The whole point of this is just to "feel more american"
- Should I sell my car and get a cheaper one? I currently own a 2014 Ford Mustang valued at roughly $9670 with 47,000 miles on the odometer. I recently accepted a job that will require I commute 2 hours a day or 18,400 miles per year. I'm currently looking to buy a used car for $1500 or less so that I can save up for a better car in a year or two. Should I sell my mustang?
