Are the valves hardened on the old 352 ford?
Added (1). am putting it in a 74 ford truck /will it run ok on unleaded gas, thanks
Was not designed for use with unleaded. Who knows if itll be alright
Thanks, what can go wrong.lol
No, they are not meant to be used with unleaded fuel. But you'll probably be okay. If the engine is out already though and you need to freshen it up before putting it in the 1974, you might as well take the heads off and have the heads cleaned up and new valves put in it.
No, they aren't hardened, but mid grade unleaded should work, I use it in my 66 Mustang with 9.5 compression.
- Do you think the old ford ka is more popular than the new one? I thought the old KAs where hardly seen now days and I thought the new one would be more popular and more seen on the road the funny thing is I see more of the old KAs than the new ones my dad doesn't like the KAs he calls them the old grannies or a hairdresser car I'm getting a Suzuki swift 5 door in red
- How to make my '67 ford 352 v8 rumble more and idle more rough? So I have flowmaster super 10's on it, I've lowered the idle to about 650-700 rpm. It just doesn't sound like I want it to. I want it I sound more drag car like. More like a race engine. Is there anything I can do?
- How old is too old for a truck? I'm looking to buy a box truck and found a 1990 Ford E 350 with 78000 miles on it. Does it matter that it is 27 years old? The owner said I need to replace the oil and tires. What else will need to be replaced? The asking price is $2750
- Old Ford SVT raptor or 2016 ford Focus RS? Looking for a winter ride to add to a collection and complement an old Mustang, and both are the same price---which one is the better deal/value? Your welcome to share your opinions.
