1983 motorhome RV fresh water tank fill holes?

There two filler holes located on the driver side of my 1983 Ford Jamboree that looks simular to one other I was wondering does this mean i have two fresh water tanks? And no I'm not referring to the city water hookup female conn ector near the rear.

Without having a book on the rig, the only way to tell is to get under it and look. One may be a port to rinse gray/blackwater tank.

One is more than likely a vent to keep water from blowing back out when filling.

  • Is it normal to have to fill the gas tank of a 2000 ford Taurus se every week? Don't laugh. I'm ignorant about cars and this is my first one. I own a 2000 Taurus station wagon. I drive 6 miles to work and 6 miles back every day and don't drive many other places than that. I live in the city. I'm filling my tank every week and my boyfriend says that's way too much. He says I should replace the spark plugs. Would he be correct?
  • I want to change my L4 1983 Ranger into a V6? I have a 1983 Ford Ranger L4 2.0 4 speed transmission base model. I'm having engine problems with it. Needs work but i want to put a V6 in it and convert to 4wd. Don't wanna sell it nor junk it. I want a shot at this. This model and yr came with a 2.8 L V6 engine. Would that be sufficient power for the pickup? To convert the pickup to 4wd, what front axle would work best?

  • I have a 1986 ford with the C6 tranny on a motorhome what fluid does it take? It looks like from what I was reading that type F is what will work but then I ran across info that states its only used in c6's from the 70's. Am I ok using type F? Also this vehicle is new to me is there anyway to tell what fluid type is in it now?
