Could I simply swap ignition switch?

Out of an old ford ranger into my Honda Civic? Is that possible?

Wasd

Nope

It depends on two things:
.
1) Will it fit physically and mechanically?
2) Are the electrical connections compatible?
.
There's no way online for any of us to tell you these things; best if you have a trustworthy mechanic look it over and tell you what they think.

Nothing will line-up. You'll have to adapt most every circuit to work - Way lot of work.

I've tried jiggling the steering wheel and turning the key but no luck. Pretty sure its the ignition lock cylinder but i can't get the damn thing out without turning the key
