Superchargwr for a 98 f150?
I have a 98 Ford F-150 with the 4.6l v8 and I can't find a supercharger for it. Anyone know what kind of supercharger will fit my truck?
There are two different types of blowers that will fit your engine - A centrifugal blower will sit in front of the engine while a twin-screw will sit on top. The centrifugal unit will be cheaper, like $ 3,000 to 4,000, while the twin screw is more involved & twice as expensive. Pick-up a Mustang based mag & read the ads.
Why would you want one? Too high!
- Will a 1993 ford f150 tachometer work in a 1996 ford f150? I have a 1996 ford f150 xl v8 automatic without a tachometer. I bought a 1993 instrument cluster with a tachometer. Will it be plug and play in my truck?
- Why is my 2003 ford f150 make a.squeaking noise when i turn on the ac? I have a 2003 ford f150 v6 4.2 and when I start it up the serpentine belt squeals, only for about 2 seconds then it stops. The only other time it makes that noise is when I turn on the a/c. I was told it could be the tensioner, but I don't want to just buy the part without getting other opinions.
- Have a rattle in passenger doors on 2012 ford f150 supercrew? My passenger side has been rattling for the past few months last week I replaced the factory speakers with aftermarket and now the rattle is even louder which does not make sense because I zip tied all the cables and did all that correctly I don't know what it could be any ideas?
- Best exhaust system for 2010 ford f150? I have a 4.6 ford f150. I would like duels and great sound but I also want to know what the best one would be for proformance. Would be nice to get a little more to the gal, or a bit more hp.
