Can I replace my speedometer from KPH to MPH?

I got a 2008 Ford F150 XL 5.4L v8 (slandered cab) and the speedometer is in KPH with kilometers mileage.

It was from canada, and the previous owner moved here. So I bought it 2 weeks ago and I'm trying to find a speedometer for MPH with Miles mileage.

Just not sure if its possible or I need to replace more then just the cluster (speedometer) itself. Like any programming or computer system?

Help would be helpful. I just need to know before I try anything.
Also if you could, link me some Speedometers if you could that would fit/work.

I just really need to know if any programming needs to be done or something.

Go to the junk yard they have one like you need also try ebay it shouldn't be much work to replace it autozone would have a book on it

Or you can learn the conversion in your head. 100kph=62mph, 50kph=31mph.

Yep, just pick one up at the parts store and swap them out. Look up the procedure online and print it out.

  • What would cause my speedometer not to work on my 2001 ford windstar? Sometimes the speedometer works fine and sometimes it goes up to 20/25mph. Then stops there. All other gauges work fine. I took it to the shop and they replaced a sensor and the whole new speedometer console thing and it still went up to 20/25 mph. And stopped so they put my original parts back on so I didn't have pay for them. They told me to take it to ford dealership. Any ideas will b appreciated Thanks
  • Why does my car speedometer go whackadoodle catywompis a couple of times each year? Every so often my speedometer goes wacky as if it were loose from it's bearings. It will just go flipping all over the place as if being pulled by a magnet. This only happens once or twice a year. I always drive the speed limit so it has nothing to do with driving. It's a 1995 Ford Taurus SW.
  • Can a ford ranger safely sustain speeds of 85-90 mph without any problems at all? I'm looking for a pickup truck that can haul stuff and is good for driving off roaming occasionally but I also what a pickup that has good performance as well. My question is can a 2007 ford ranger XLT 4.0 v6 5 speed manual sustain speeds of 85-90 mph or is that pushing the limits of this truck?
