Is this a good deal for a car? - 1

My parents are buying a 2016 ford explorer with the 202 A package brand new for $40,000.

I believe they are overpaying for it.

34k for the xlt 6 cylinder plus 4k for that package. 40k is close

Seems pretty reasonable, new cars are expensive. They should really look for something like a used 2015 and it will be much cheaper.

Assuming it's a 4WD(AWD) V6 model. The sticker price will be around $39k. Add tax and any other options and you're over $40k easily. If it's $40k out the door, then it's fair price, but not the deal of a lifetime or anything.

  • Is this a good deal on this car? Okay, so my dad totaled my grandma's 1999 Ford Taurus and this is the closest thing I could find to what she had. My grandma doesn't drive much so the vehicle's age doesn't matter really but she still wants a car to drive around in. My local Mazda dealer is selling this 2008 Mazda5 with 92,567 miles for $8,980. Is this a good deal?

  • Is this a good deal for a 1974 ford ltd? The car looks great in person, and the guy seems very trustworthy. Selling for $4,500. I'm looking for something reliable but still has some mojo and comfort.
