2005 Ford F-250 XLT heat issue?

The heater core gets hot as the motor gets hot, the direction flap by the heater core works, but next to the heat core by the directional flap it's blowing in outside temp air, and the heater core is n't getting much air flow, only a little. I heard there's a flap that changes to blow to the heather core or away from it, but I don't know where it's located.

I think you are talking about what we call the blend door. There's a step motor mounted on top of the heater box, you can gain access to it by dropping the glove box. Two screws and you lift it out. There's also the control panel where you will find the electronic control for the step motor you would call it the heat control, it could also be the problem
