I went to NAPA bought 3/8 steel line and ran all new line from the tank to a high volume fuel pump just in front of the front tank for my 7.3 diesel, i was having nothing but trouble with it drawing air through all the connectors even after replacing all the seals. It was foaming the diesel fuel at the filter in front of the injector pump, once finished i NEVER had another minutes problem and it cranks so much easier i don't live where i need a second tank, gas engines are different and use the in tank fuel pump i think just use the existing fuel pump for that
- Question about ford crown victoria fuel tanks? I have a 2001 crown victoria police interceptor. I'm trying to install a new fuel tank. Problem is that the new tank has a different style hole on top for the pressure valve regulator. Can I just use the newer style regulator that will fit the new tank or some kind of adaptor for the stock valve? Does anyone know where I can find a tank like the original, it has a recessed hole with tabs for that valve?
