88 ford f150 has 2 gas tanks first one quit working now the other has quit?
The gas gauge went crazy each time before they stopped working.Is it my fuel pump, and aren't they inside the tanks? How can I tell if thats the problem without having to take it to a mechanic? I'm used to fixing my own cars.
If you are used to fixing your own car you'd know what to do. If you would have fixed the first problem you would not be in the mess you are in now.
By "quit working", do you mean you're no longer getting fuel, or do you mean the gauge is simply no longer working? Makes no sense to say a tank quit working, unless it's got a gaping hole in it.
- Question about ford crown victoria fuel tanks? I have a 2001 crown victoria police interceptor. I'm trying to install a new fuel tank. Problem is that the new tank has a different style hole on top for the pressure valve regulator. Can I just use the newer style regulator that will fit the new tank or some kind of adaptor for the stock valve? Does anyone know where I can find a tank like the original, it has a recessed hole with tabs for that valve?
- I have a 1990 Ford Mustang gt the dashlights quit working and the taillights now do not work? What do I need to do to fix this, or has anyone else had this problem? I checked the fuses and it is not that.
- My daughter has a Ford KA and one of the headlights isn't working? I changed the bulb but it still wasn't working. This led me to the fuse, but everytime I change the fuse it just blows straight away. Any ideas what could be causing this.
- I have a 92 Ford Thunderbird. The signal lights quit working? I have no signal lights on either side and no emergency flashers and no break lights except the break light located on the top of rear window. Any ideas on a fix?
