In the movie that car is actually a 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 sunliner. But this car is not the same does anyone know. The stripe on the side is in a lower place. Does anyone know?

Think it's around a 1957 Buick. The model could be a Rivera but not sure.

The car in the "Desert Hearts" poster is a 1957 Buick Special convertible, model 46C.
Of all the 2 door Buick models, the Special was the only NOT to include any added chrome or model names above the "V" in the quarter panel molding.
