You might get $150 at the scrapyard
Depends how 'rough' it is is. I will guess anywhere from $500 down to where you have to pay them to tow it away.
If it runs do you have a local PICK-A-PART. You mite get $300 and it'll be gone
One hundred and fiddy.
$50.00 to a junk yard, and they'll tow it away.
What exactly does "rough condition" mean? If it runs, I would say $300.
Running/driving? Mechanically ok?
Assuming yes, maybe $500-750 off the top of my head at private party value.
Did you check KBB and NADA?
If its not mechanically sound and running & driving, its worth less.
That depends on how you define 'rough'.
But it's really worth what a buyer is willing to pay you for it. If no one comes knocking on your door, you may get $100-$200 for it from a scrapyard.
It's worth about $50 for scrap metal.
A goldfish or a paper windmill.
- How much is a 2000 ford ranger with 170,000 miles and 3 inch body lift worth? It is a stepside, extended cab. It has a few probs… Window on drivers side doesn't work… Electric windows… And the tires are kinda bald… It also has a slight oil leak somewhere… It always leaves little dots of oil when it is parked. It does burn any oil at all though. What would it be worth you think?
- Ford Ranger 4.0, 172,000 miles rough idle when starting after sitting overnight or after 2-3 hours. Starts 1st crank, idles rough 1 minute? Or so and then smooths out and runs fine. New heads and gaskets. Cleaned MAF sensor, throttle body and air intake sensor, new IAC valve, new air and fuel filters, new PCV valve. No smoke coming from exhaust and No check engine light. Any ideas what's causing this rough idle?
- I bought an Actron CP9125 Code Reader to try and diagnose a rough idle at cold start on a 98 Ford 4.0 engine. The rough idle had not caused? The CEL to come on. I plugged the code reader in with just the key on and pressed read and the little asterisk goes half-way across the screen one time and stops. I press the read button again and it reads 0 codes. I was thinking it would scan multiple times to check for pending codes or other issues. I tried it with the engine running and the same thing happens. Is this code reader operating properly?
- 2010 Ford F-150 4.6 rough idle (extra rough when a/c is on) after throttle body cleaned Purge valve solenoid (new) throttle body cleaned. What could this vibration (constant in and out) be? The engine itself shakes along with the exhaust. I can feel the vibration more while the doors are open.
