What would this sound like?
This is probably a stupid idea but I've seen a few peeps on YouTube do this. I have an 02 ford ranger extended cab as a daily driver. I'm really into car audio though and I was gonna upgrade my highs and bass. One idea I had was putting my subs in my bed with my bed cover on top. I was going to limit any bed cover rattling noise possible too if I had them turned up. I know I ll be limiting bed space but I honestly would love seeing it big bass in action every now and then. I ll have my cab space back too since it is extended cab. I just want some opinions. I plan on keeping my truck for a few more years. Just want some loud music. Opinions. Preferably people who are actually into audio.
I love uploading to YouTube
Yes
You will learn something, that's for sure.
The only way this makes sense is to build a "blow-through" setup, where the sub box's output is sealed away from the outside and plays into the cabin via a port cut through the rear cab wall and front of the truck bed. If you're not going to do this, don't put subwoofers in back.
If you want good sound in your entertainment room do you install speakers in the bedroom?
Same concept IMO.
To me, it sounds like a waste of time, effort, and money.
- Would a straight pipe sound good on my Ford Focus? Hi I've been doing some research on straight pipes and exhaust systems for my 2010 Ford Focus SES sedan. I don't wanna spend over $500+ on a full exhaust system. So that's out of the question. I was thinking a straight pipe by itself. I found one for $17.62 on Amazon. I want the "racing" sound. How much will installation cost and what would it sound like? A loud Mustang or truck? Send me a link to a video if possible or just answer.
- I would like to know if 04-08 Ford F-150 rear suspension parts would fit on my 1998 Ford F-150? I'm building a prerunner and have already received a long travel kit for the front of my 1998 Ford F-150, but I'm having trouble finding rear suspension parts for it. Honestly I'm perfectly fine with just a pair of Fox 2.5 Factory piggybacks, but I can only find some for the 04-08 Ford F-150 and I just wanted to know if they would bolt onto my 1998 Ford F-150.
- 2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac 4X4 Re: Vibration/thumping like sound. Drivers front Someone mentioned the transfer case. Someone responded to that inquiry… They said it probably wasn't the transfer case that would lead to a specific side being affected, but that it COULD be the U-joint in the drive axle. Would that be the U-joint that couples the transfer case to the "short shaft"? If so, if I remove the short shaft, should the vibration/thumping stop? Any input will be greatly appreciated!
- Does anyone actually believe a stud like Kavanaugh would even party with an ugly duckling like Christine Ford? He probably didn't even realize she even existed. Probably walked right past her in the hallways.
