I have a '99 Ford Ranger with the 4x4 Off Road package. Does this include a heavy duty suspension?
It's also a 6cyl 4.0 liter. I need to know because I need to change my rear parking brake cable and it specifies with or without heavy duty suspension. How would I know?
I suggest buying from rockauto online ; maybe get both and return the one not needed?
- Why does Michigan have such a heavy automotive influence? I know I may sound kind of stupid asking this but it's been bugging me for awhile. GM, Ford, and Chrysler all have their headquarters in Michigan and mainly produce and manufacture cars their so I d just like to know why.
- Would a long travel suspension kit built for a Ford Ranger Edge/Sport also fit on a Ranger XLT? I found a long travel suspension kit made for a 2002 ranger edge/sport but I have a XLT same year. Would it still fit on and function the same?
- 1998 3.0L 4x4 Manual Ford Ranger towing 1500lbs with tow package? I'm not too worried about it on the freeway, how will it do on moderate uphill road? I want to buy a boat and take it up to the lake. The boat I'm looking at weighs about 900 lbs, so I'm making a liberal estimate with trailer, gear, and gas.
