Hmm… Take the proof of ownership of the Mondeo to the blue oval dealer, and have them retrieve the code. Oh, you say you don't have proof? Well, I guess you are SOL.
That does not appear to be a type originally fitted by Ford, it's looks like an "After market" unit.
Ford serial numbers start with either V or M plus six digits, as far as I'm aware.
