What would be a good European alternative to a Chevy Camaro/Ford Mustang?

We've had our Chevrolet Camaro 2SS (2012, Convertible) for about a year now. Mainly I use it to go to college when my daily (STi hatch, 2011) is being borrowed by my brother. However, dad wants to replace it with something European, what would be a good alternative? I'm looking for something not too far off in price, not TOO difficult to maintain and within the same power range as the Camaro (426 hp).

Added (1). P.S. If there's none within the price point then I'm willing to pay more so keep the suggestions coming haha

Added (2). Also preferably a coupe, and rear wheel drive. I have an STi already:/

For the price there isn't anything that performs as well or looks as cool but I guess the closest thing would be a 3 series BMW although the ones made in the last 10 years aren't exactly reliable and it'll have more like 320 hp with the performance package they really don't make many cars that make lots of power for that price in Europe

You won't, because European cars don't just emphasize engine power like americans do - outputs over 400 hp are typically in cars that are better quality and therefore more expensive.

I would probably go with the European built Ford Focus RS - 2.3L Ecoboost 4cyl. 350hp and 350 ft/lb of torque (0-60 in 4.5 seconds) or the VW GTI R turbocharged 2.0L 4cyl. With 292hp and 280 ft/lb of torque (0-60 in 5 seconds).

Both are all-wheel drive - the VW can transfer torque front to rear, but the Focus can transfer it all to any one wheel.

I think you'll pretty much find that you are asking for a unicorn here.

First off, rear-wheel drive in European cars is pretty much only for the low-end stuff just to get around town. Anything remotely performance over there will be at least FWD, and more often than not AWD.

Secondly, they tend to value handling and acceleration more than raw horsepower (which is only half the story anyway, with torque frequently getting overlooked by muscle car fans). As such, they tend to get comparable top speeds with lower horsepower ratings due to things like reduced weight. Even when they do go for power, they typically do so through a turbocharger, which tends to concentrate the power in the power band a bit more, and they tend to tune it to lower RPMs than what is common in American brands.

Finally, largely because of import costs and tariffs, performance cars from Europe, even low end ones like the BMW 3 Series and lowest performance Jaguar, start in the $35-40k range. So the price really isn't all that comparable.

Hi so we have another type of technology which does not require blunt force to make a car go fast ours is a lot more refined like a porsche.

That price qualifier is going to kill your options.
