I have an 86 mustang 5.0 and i don't know the hp?
I know the real only way to know the actual horsepower is to put it on the dyno, but I just need a rough estimate.
my mods are a couple
bbk cold air intake
throttle body
70mm spacer
msd ignition
under drive pully and rest of pully set
shorty hearders h pipe
turn down flow masters
exedy stage 1 clutch kit and ford racing fly wheel b&m short shifter aluminum radiator
just need a rough estimate and what would really bring more power out my engine

Hi dream on the facts of life are here the engine unless it has been rebuilt will have next to no power. So why waste money on it unless you are prepared to spend serious money on getting it a reconditioned engine.
Stock it had 200 HP. The 1986 models had the weird one-year-only high swirl heads. You mods might've added another 25-30 HP, the 302 responded pretty well to bolt-ons. So 225-230 HP at the crank

- I need to put a different engine in my 1982 Ford Ranger Lariat and I don't know what to put in it? It's the biggest engine you could get at the time in those trucks, so it is a v8, I just don't know the exact size. Since the engine is pretty much dead that's in it I was wondering if almost any v8 could go in it's place or if it has any specific engine that has to go it in. Also any good suggestion for a good engine would be great.

- I don't know if i need my starter replaced.Should I? I have a 2003 Ford Focus and it wasn't working properly because my key wouldn't turn the ignition I've never had that problem before so i got somebody to fix it and it works but i always have to hit the key to get the key to turn so it can start, all he did was repair it, but should i get it replaced so i don't have to have this problem again?
