How can I change the time on my 1999 Ford Mustang radio? (holding clock button in does NOT work)?
How can I change the time on my 1999 Ford Mustang radio? (holding clock button in does NOT work)? - 1
Unplug the fuse and re-set it, and see what time it comes-up with. Then just wait 'til it IS that time & do it again. Now, depending on which Ford stereo system you have, you might have a SECOND fuse in the power distribution box under the hood. So you may have to see which fuse does the clock.
Hold the clock button in. While holding the clock button in press the SEEK button to change the hour. Right to go up and left to go down. To set the minutes hold the clock button in and pass the TUNE button. Right to go up and left to go down.
If it's like my Ford Ranger: While holding the clock button you change the hour with the seek button and the minutes with the tune button. Press them to the right to go up and to the left to go down.
If the clock does not flash when you hold the clock button, clock setting is broken. You can try disconnecting the power connector completely for an hour and see if the clock flashes afte reconnecting the connector.
Is it hold clock button and push the channel select and or scan for minutes
Usually you hold the clock button in for a moment until the hour or minute digits start to flash. Then one of the other buttons changes the time. Experiment.
- 2008 Ford Focus radio and clock not working? I went into the car yesterday and started it up. The "FORD FOCUS" came on the clock as usual, but after that nothing appeared. Then i attempted to use the radio and it wouldnt work. If i pressed random buttons(pushing in the ok button a bunch of times) it would sometimes pop up like 12:00. I checked fuse box and the fuses were good. What could be causing this?

As I said I have 56 plate fiesta and the aux button on the stereo is there but has never been used. If I plug an aux lead into my car where the USB port charger is will hat Work just by plugging my phone in and pressing the aux button or will it need something done to the stereo for it to work?
