Ford mustang experts anybody who lows this?
What is the difference between the ford mustang gt, mustang gt 500, mustang Shelby gt, gt 350, cobra? I also saw the unveiling of the 2016 mustang gt 350 and it said Shelby in the back and I'm confused I thought it was different cars? Is the gt 350 the same as a regular gt? Also It had the cobra logo? So it was a car with a gt a 350 and a cobra on it so I'm confused and I wanna know more about mustangs.
They're all mustangs, just different trims. The Shelby Cobra is the top of the line whIle the GT350 is the baseline I believe.
Think of an explorer. There's the explorer, the Explorer king ranch, the Eddie Bauer Explorer… It's just different parts, i.e. The gt350 probably has an automatic v6 while the cobra has a V8 stick or automatic. The cobra might have a spoiler the gt500 doesn't. The cobra might have a Sony sound system while the gt500 has the stock system

The GT is the base V8 version of the Mustang produced by ford, the Cobra is an upgraded version also produced by ford. The GT350 and GT500 are mustangs that ford sent to Shelby american to modify before selling and they are always the most powerful/expensive mustangs available.
Yes both the GT350/500 have the cobra logo (since that was shelby's logo) and Ford has it on the SVT Cobra (probably due to some deal ford made with shelby to use it) but that does NOT make an SVT Cobra the same as a Shelby.
You're getting some questionable answers, I'll attempt to set things straight.
Mustang GT = Base V8 model
Mustang Cobra = Top spec factory Mustang from 1993-2004, the 03/04 models were supercharged. There were no 2000 or 2002 Cobras in North American BTW.
Shelby GT 500 = Top spec factory Mustang from 2007-2014. Contrary to popular belief they were built on the same assembly line as lesser Mustangs and were *not* lesser Mustangs that were sent to Shelby for conversion. The only cars that Shelby modifies these days are the Super Snakes.
Shelby GT = Mustang GT with some mild aftermarket Shelby/ Ford Racing parts added. Made in 2006 and 2008 only. These cars were modified by Shelby
Shelby GT 350 = Only Shelby available for the 2015 model year, it's made on the same assembly line as the 2015 Mustang, It's not modified by Shelby.
- Sub has no highs but play lows nice? So I had my 500 watt alpine amp with Rockford punch 12" in my hyndai with a head unit and it hit the highs and lows perfect. Now I transferred the same sub and amp to my Ford Taurus only using a converter so I can play it off my stock radio. The lows hit so nicely but there's like no highs at all.what's up with that?
