2004 Pontiac Sunfire vs 2001 Ford Mustang?

I need your help. I would like to purchase a car. I just do not know which one. The Ford Mustang is great it has140,000 miles, v6, brand new speakers two 6x8 kickers in the front and two 6x8 pioneers in the back. The car runs really well. Good transmission and engine, i always do oil change 50-100 miles before it's due. Interior and exterior in good condition. Tires brand new, 245/45R17 in back and 225/45R17 in front. BUT it has an engine light on due to evap, The 2004 Pontiac Sunfire has 30+MPG, Clean condition, Interior is extra clean, CD Stereo System, Roomy Two Door Coupe, but has 169k miles. I believe this car has other issues.

Get the Sunfire the v6 mustang is garbage. The ford 3,8(not the same as gm 3.8) makes less power and is garbage.

Bother have pretty high miles, but the ford is probably the best choice. And my guess is it will have way better resale value than the sunfirr

I'd eliminate the sunfire for one main reason. It's an ORPHAN. There are no dealerships for them since GM discontinued the line and parts are going to get harder and harder to find, Not a good choice. Resale value of discontinued car brands are not good.

  • Pontiac G6 or 2010 Ford fusion? I'm looking to buy either one of these types, the Ford fusion I'm looking to buy needs a motor but is good other than that. Weighing out my options is that I'd probably need to take the car to a shop if it was the g6 for problems since it's a foreign car but the fusion I know a couple mechanics who can always fix the car for cheaper if anything. Anybody have any input on this, which would be better in the long run? Which is a better car?

Its a stupid question but I want to know which car has a smoother and more comfortable ride. I know neither car will win races but which car has more kick to it? What if the fusion had a v6?
  • Should I get a Pontiac Grand AM GT or a Ford Focus? I found a 2003 grand am with no issues as I can tell and a 2003 focus zx3 hatchback with no issues as well. Which do you think would be the better deal since they are both around $3k?
