Is there any publicly accessible evidence (blog posts, FB posts, etc.) about Christine Ford's pre-2018 political views?
If it is on record that she had a history of anti-Trump and/or anti-Republican/pro-Democrat views before Kavanaugh's nomination, then it is more likely than she made a politically motivated false claim than if she hadn't taken a political stand before the Kavanaugh affair.
Why would she, a doctor with a PHD, care about who gets nominated to the supreme court?

People who make false claims do not submit to (and pass) polygraph examinations. They also typically do not demand full investigations of the allegations.
She was telling the truth, deal with it.
- If Graham is so upset about people making charges without evidence then why is he accusing Ford of lying without any evidence and the DNC? "putting her up to it" with no evidence for that claim either? Privately? Why? These are public hearings and a lifelong appointment. If somebody's going to speak up they'd better do it now.
