How is ebay still in business?

They allow the Chinese to sell FAKE sterling jewelry (50 cents for a "sterling" ring) and FAKE silver dollars (counterfeit) and FAKE silver bars.
They have more complaints against them than GM Ford and Toyota COMBINED.

A lawsuit is filed against ebay every 8 minutes!

A California judge called ebay "the worlds largest criminal organization" from the bench!

Yes it is.

Well…"Caveat emptor" (buyer beware) as far as 50 cent sterling silver jewelry… Umm yeah… If it looks too good to be true then.

You're probably correct that they have more complaints against them than GM, Ford & Toyota but considering the sheer number of transactions in a day on eBay (about 1 billion) globally, and that each one is a chance for a "snafu" then their ratio probably isn't that bad. I'm not sure about the California judge and claim about a lawsuit every 8 minutes- I Googled those and came up empty.

Ebay isn't the only source of counterfeit material coming across the ocean (and as noted above China isn't the only country doing it)-there are thousands of websites selling everything from $9.99 "Rolexes" to NFL knock-off jerseys.

When you buy on Ebay you check the seller's feedback and don't buy from China. Ebay is not liable for what traders on Ebay do. Read their policies. By buying and selling you agree to their terms.
