Anyone have experience with thes 2016 midsize sedans?

2016 Ford Fusion S
2016 Kia Optima LX
2016 Toyota Camry SE
2016 Honda Accord LX
2016 Mazda 6 GX

So essentially they all have very similar price points in terms of payments and insurance costs.

What I'm looking for is a car me and my fiance will be able to grow into over time. We will have children some time in the next 5 years (hopefully), so it would be nice to have something that would last (with proper care).

What i'm really looking for is opinions of more then one of the cars. If anyone has tried out a couple of these and has a bit of a comparison between them that would be great!

To me the Ford Fusion is on the smaller side of the midsize sedans listed but still a good option. The new Accord and Camry come with a lot of standard features even on the base models. The Mazda 6 is also pretty good if you want a family sized car with a little fun. It's sportier than them all in the option and at least in America still comes with a stick shift. Out of them all I rate them as this. Test them all out before you decide to buy one!
1 Honda Accord
2 Toyota Camry
3 Mazda 6
4 Ford Fusion
5 Kia Optima

Its a toss up for me between the Accord and the Camry, both have a very good reputation on reliability and dependability. Me and wife bought our Accord when we had our first child, and then another child after four years, 15 years later, car it is still running strong, planning to give it to my son when he starts driving. I also know people who owns Camry and had it just as long as our Accord. The other cars are fairly new models who does not have that reputation yet. Accords are in the top 10 best cars for many consecutive years.

Its really a matter of personal choice. Id rank the Kia last but all of them should be pretty good cars.

I kind of agree with Kris on the rankings…
1 Honda Accord
2 Toyota Camry
3 Mazda 6
4 Ford Fusion
5 Kia Optima

But really, they should all be fine if you treat them fine. You might compare the warranties. Id only consider the kia if it had a much better warranty than the top 3. Or if it was several grand less.

If you are looking to grow into a vehicle, I would more be looking at the Mid-sized Crossovers.
Kia Sorento, Mazda CX5, Honda CRV, Toyota RAV4 or Ford Edge. All of them are good options. Pick what you like.
