Fords lawyer says there's no way 4th witness Ms. Keyser could possibly remember a party 36 years ago. But Ford can remember the party?

Thoughts?

In an email to the Senate Judiciary Committee on Saturday, Leland Ingham Keyser, a former classmate of Ford's at the Holton-Arms all-girls school in Maryland, said she doesn't know Kavanaugh or remember being at the party with him.

"Simply put, Ms. Keyser does not know Mr. Kavanaugh and she has no recollection of ever being at a party or gathering where he was present, with, or without, Dr. Ford," lawyer Howard J. Walsh III of Bethesda, Md., conveyed in an email to the committee.

In response, Ford's lawyer Debra Katz said: "As Dr. Ford has said, she did not share her story publicly or with anyone for years following the incident with Judge Kavanaugh.

"It's not surprising that Ms. Keyser has no recollection of the evening as they did not discuss it. It's also unremarkable that Ms. Keyser does not remember attending a specific gathering 30 years ago at which nothing of consequence happened to her. Dr. Ford of course will never forget this gathering because of what happened to her there."

Added (1). DW- isn't it also plausible that she is making it up?

Added (2). DW- if you saw someone attack one of your friends in the way Ford describe wouldn't you remember it? I sure would.

That's plausible.

For Ford it was a traumatic event and very memorable. For her friend it was just another party - no reason to remember it years later.

Witness - a person who sees an event, typically a crime or accident, take place.

So the 4th Witness is not a witness

A witness that can't member is a useless witness (in other words, not a witness), might as well use me as a witness too.

This is why the parties date and place can't be remembered. Anyone that claims they were there and didn't see or know of this incident, was either at the wrong party. Or it can be dismissed like the lawyer claims. They do have a point, if one goes to many parties, part of the life style. Unless something happens that make it sticks out on ones mind, they sort of all blur together. But that blurring together of different events, is also something that happens when trying to recall a traumatic event that has been buried.
