Well you saw Shiela Jackson Lee give Ford's lawyer an envelope during a break that looked like a money exchange. However the democrats didn't count on Ford looking like an unstable loss of memory liar. Apparently she was as well scripted as needed for the American people. Her testimony is one big lie.

It was clear from the beginning that the GOP did not want to seek the truth. They were not going to take her words seriously and refused to do a proper investigation.
