MY FORD FOCUS 04 Radio not turning on?

I was just driving and turnt the engine off literally 1min later i turnt the engine on again to drive off and now the radio/cd player isn't turning on completely! What do i do? Its the normal CD player that Ford fits in to there cars for this model

I think it may have cramped out on you, you may need to get a new radio. You could get a cheap stock ford radio on eBay for your model. Or go to like best buy or circuit city, mabey even at Walmart or Kmart.

Hi yes time has taken it's toll on the factor fitted unit time for a new one. However a replacement ford one would be just so expensive. So not really worth the expenditure.
a car radio audio specialist would provide you with a new model with much better sound and facilities for half the price fitted.

Sounds obvious, but start with the fuse…

  • I too having similar problem with car radio it's not asking for code but not picking up stations? It shows the radio station number but doesn't tune into it I've tried all sorts you can her it searching for station but just doesn' find it. Tried menu button TA settings even manually. It did work just recently bought car haven't got manual I think I pressed something & lost channels. It's RDS 5000 ford ka radio any suggestions?
  • Ford Sync not turning on? My ford sync worked fine a week or two ago, but lately it won't even turn on. I've tried to perform a master reset but it I can't access the options when I can even start sync up. The phone button on the radio doesn't work either, which is probably related to this. Any ideas on what's going on?

  • 2008 Ford Focus radio and clock not working? I went into the car yesterday and started it up. The "FORD FOCUS" came on the clock as usual, but after that nothing appeared. Then i attempted to use the radio and it wouldnt work. If i pressed random buttons(pushing in the ok button a bunch of times) it would sometimes pop up like 12:00. I checked fuse box and the fuses were good. What could be causing this?
