Is a Mercedes benz SL550 a good used car to get?
I'm looking to replace my current ford focus with a 2015 Mercedes Benz SL550. The car only has 7,000 miles on it and I'm wondering if this would be a good car to drive year round. I live in Chicago so I don't think I will have a lot of problems in winter conditions. Also I'm 25 years old and I think I would look good in this car.
The only way to know if any vehicle is "good" as you put it, is to have a mechanic do a complete inspection before purchase… That $ 100 or so may prevent you from buying a junker

How do you think you'd look in a repair shop?
My experience with top end Mercedes is that they cost more to repair than they are actually worth. Buy it, enjoy it for a few years, then dump it when the warranty ends. Of course, you'll take a massive hit due to the depreciation of the car over the next couple of years.
If you are made of money, just buy a brand new one every 3 years.

- Which car brand is better, Acura or Mercedes-Benz? My mom is wondering what kind of car would be good to replace her Mercury Grand Marquis.
