I have a SE 2009 Ford Focus that I want to mod/upgrade. Suggestions?
Blue 4 Door SE… It has treated me well and i love it, but want to make it look nicer. I have no intent of trading it in or getting a new car, so please stay on topic.
Cheapest way to make it look "nicer" is tinting windows, then something like 1.5" drop on the suspension, wheels, I believe they also make body kits that will beef up the look of the car.
As for performance mods cold air intake and a turbo system but that starts to get a bit pricey. Stay away from "chips" as they only change fuel/air ratio and may give you a little more power but you will sacrifice mpg's drastically. They look good on paper but have little real world advantages.
- Mod shops in Ontario, CA? I have a 2014 ford mustang v6, I have a long list of mods i want to do but i live out in the country between Toronto and Barrie. I can travel to either city, does anyone recommend a good place that can help me out? Some examples of what i want done are changing the gear ratios and re-tuning the car. Dealership quoted me $2 grand for the ratio. Which is a joke.
- I have $3,500 to upgrade my '11 Mustang GT. What should I get? I've got about $3,500 to upgrade my 2013 Mustang GT. I was thinking about getting Brembo brakes and Ford Racing Catback exhaust. Any other suggestions? Title is meant to say '13, not '11. I typed too fast on my phone.
- Jumper wire mod to cars relays? Want to do a jumped wire mod to my car to have the fogs on while the highbeams are on but not sure if I have the pins right on the relays. 99% positive just not 100. If I have the wrong pins will this do any damage to my car? It's a 2009 ford fusion from pins 3 (86)-5 (87) in relay 41 which controls the fogs. If you know this would work that'd be appreciated too.
- I have a 2001 ford focus ZTS, how can I upgrade its performance? My 2001 ford focus ZTS has a 2.0L DOHC Zetec engine and I want to increase its performance, what would you upgrade, install, replace, etc? its a 2001 ford focus ZTS Zetec-E engine if that makes it less confusing.
