Codes for V prefix serial numbers were allocated at random by FORD who have a record of it. Unlike earlier M serials the code for a V can't be calculated.
Some scams exist where people will charge you to get the code and then not come up with it as they can't
You need to visit a Ford Dealers parts department and take your V5C, your driving licence and a method of payment - NO OTHER WAY
