Where the orifice tube is on a 2005 Ford Focus ZX3?
I'm trying to replace my orifice tube, but I can't find where it is. I have already completely drained the system of any freon, and the next step is to remove the orifice tube. Now I just need to find it. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
It's in the evaporator core inside the liquid port.
It is located in the liquid line just before the evaporator… 
Probably does not have one but a transfer valve instead. The transfer valves are usually with the evaporator inside the dashboard.
- Should I buy a Ford Focus Zx3 or should I look for a different car? I'm a male going to college as a sophmore next semester (this car will be my first car). Should I buy a stick or an automatic (I don't know how to drive a stick at the moment, but I'm willing to learn)? What do you think would be more fun? Do you think a ford focus Zx3 is a good car for me or do you have any other car suggestions?
