180 thousand miles allot for a 2001 ford focus zts?
Dealership down the road is selling this 2001 zx3 zts ford focus. It has a new clutch. Service history is pretty good (very well maintained) and its pretty dirt cheap at only 2500 dollars and a free 3 month powertrain warranty from the dealer. But is 180 too much for the car? What are your experiences with ford focuses of similar years and models (zx3,4,5)? The body and interior of the car are in excellent condition. No rust. No leaking pipes. All power options work. I have twice the money i would need to buy it in my bank account. And i really like it. Should i go for it? I learned to drive stick on a focus so i kinda have a emotional tie to these cars if that makes sense. And yeah its a 5 speed.
This is too many miles 150 sure 180 No.

- 2006 Ford Focus with 147k miles or 2005 Hyundai Elantra with 100k miles? Looking for a car for a student, I've received 2 offers, a 2006 Ford Focus for $4000 cash or a 2005 Hyundai Elantra for $4900 with $2000 down and the rest financed. Which would be a better deal? Go with the payment plan or scrap up all my cash? Both cars have been well maintained but can someone who knows cars tell me which would last longer?
