08 Ford Focus SES. Limp Mode?
New transmission in it with 4k miles on it. Had pro mechanic put new tranny in for me. Still going into limp mode. Shutting the transmission and motor off. What's wrong with it?
Seems to me the 'Pro mechanic" should be the one you are asking as he/she has access to the OBDII codes and can actually see the vehicle and make diagnostics tests.
Either the tranny has a bad sensor or it's the wrong year transmission for the car. Get the codes scanned. An OBD II code reader will not work.
Bring it back to whoever installed it. Without codes can't help much. Need more help find local shop at ATRA.COM

- 24 hour mode in Ford SYNC? Is there a way to switch the clock displayed on the SYNC screen from the 12 hour AM/PM mode top a 24 hour format? The 2014 Mustang owner manual does not provide any clue as to how, or even if it is at all possible.
- 2013 Ford Mustang sport mode? My mustang has a sport mode (S on the shifter column). And I have the option of manually shifting with the plus and minus buttons on the shifter. My question is do I have to manually shift? Or can I pop it into sport mode and drive it like an automatic? In other words can I drive it in sports mode without having to shift gears manually and have the car do it itself?
- Would a Cherry bomb glass pack sound good on my Ford Focus ses? Hi I'm wanting to put in a muffler or straight pipe in my Ford Focus ses sedan. I would just like to buy the muffler or straight pipe by itself without paying $500+ on a new exhaust system. I just want the racing sound. The low brrrrrrrrrr. Please refer a specific muffler or straight pipe in your opinion that would sound good on my car.
- I have a 2004 Ford Focus SES with 276.938 miles on it? The car I own is a red ford focus. I used to be married and I have 5 kids. My oldest has her own car which is newer then mine, and has enough seats for us all. My car doesn't. What is a cheep car that is around a 2007 that has enough seats for 6 people? I don't like borrowing my daughters car a lot and my car needs so much work. I won't pay more then 9000 because I just don't have enough money for a new car.
