Is the ford fiesta a reliable car to buy with the ecoboost engine?
I don't know about the fiesta, but my wife has a fusion with the EcoBoost engine and its 10 times better than the new BMW she bought previously, which she traded for the ford because the BMW always had to go to the shop.
Not if it is a recent model with the double clutch 6 speed automatic. Run, don't walk.
No, the Fiesta has always been entry level and not all that durable. Ecoboost needs premium fuel and is quite thirsty for it.
The Fiesta has very average reliability and dependability, at best. You could do better.
- How reliable is Ford's relatively new ecoboost 1.0L engine? Does anyone have a newer Fiesta or Focus with this engine? Is it dependable thus far? Any big problems of note?
- How reliable is a mk5 ford fiesta 1.25? I know there are different factors considered when answering but I mean in general. For instance when you think Japanese you know it's going to be reliable. But when you think ford? Does reliability come to mind? If not what words would you use to describe the mk5 fiesta?
- Ford (Fiesta) 1.25 Zetec engine vs 1.3 Endura engine? Although the Zetec is perhaps a smoother engine I've also read the Endura engine is a simpler design and there's less that go wrong with it i.e. Chain driven timing belt and less electronics.
- Ford 1.0 ecoboost? Fiesta or focus? Is insurance good for a first car? Would a 1.0 ecoboost be a good first car? Either the 100ps or the 125ps? And which car is better the focus or fiesta? Which would be cheaper?
