Can the turbocharger be taken out of the 2014 ford fiesta st?

I'm thinking about buying a ford fiesta st, but i'm using that car to rally car race, I can't have a turbocharged engine in the race I'm going into, so I'm wondering if that can be taken out, but the car still run?

This comes up a lot from people who have cars with bad turbo seals, and the answer is "sorta." The intake and exhaust manifolds have to be replaced and the oil and coolant lines capped. Then there's the problem of the engine. I'm not familiar with the Fiesta ST engine but most turbo engines are low compression to prevent detonation with higher boost. A low compression engine would be maddeningly slow.

If you can find a replacement non-turbo engine to swap in, manifolds and all, it would be better.
