Can i drive my car without a windscreen washer cap?

My windscreen washer cap broke and now i do not have one and am wondering whether i can drive the car without one. Plus where can i buy a windscreen washer cap for a ford fiesta 2006 model

You can drive it, but you'll lose at least some of the windshield fluid due to sloshing. Depending on the location, it might slosh onto the exhaust and smell, or splash onto the belt, and cause it to slip or squeal. Try making a temporary cap by putting a piece of plastic over the opening, and putting a rubber band around the lip to hold it in place.

You should be able to find a replacement in any of several places:

- any auto parts store. They may have to order one - it's probably not something they would normally carry.

- the J. C. Whitney catalog or website. Whitney is famous for carrying almost anything and everything automotive in their inventory, usually at pretty good prices.

- any Ford dealership's part desk - they may have one in stock, or be able to get it from a nearby dealership or the regional warehouse. You may pay a bit more, but it should be available.

- a junkyard that has a similar Fiesta in the yard. At least one near me will let you wander the yard looking for whatever you need for just a small fee - like a dollar or two. You remove whatever parts you need, and pay for them on your way out.

Put foil and tape over It temporarily until you get a new one.

Take some tin foil and a rubber band! On some reservoirs you can use a cap off of a antifreeze jug! Check the junk yards for a cap, they probably won, t charge more then $1.00 for it!
