Blue smoke from diesel engine?

My car is a 1.4l Ford Fiesta diesel hatchback and it has been emitting a lot of blue smoke from the exhaust in the last couple of months. It usually happens when accelerating, but smoke also comes out when the car is idle and the engine is ticking over. When the car is idle it is small amounts of white smoke not really blue, that is only when accelerating. You can also feel the car shaking a bit when it is idle with the engine on if that helps and the oil level doesn't ever seem to decrease. There hasn't been any loss of power really, just lots of blue smoke which has lead people to come up to me at the lights and when i have parked to say i have something wrong with the car.

  • Steam/smoke coming from engine? 2001 Ford Taurus, V6. Only 86K. Just to note had the car over 6 months now. Works great nothing weird going on, except steam or smoke coming from engine but I noticed only comes from front end and when it's night and cold outside I can see it. I just change the reservoir about a month ago. The air does have a small leak that I know of. What are your thoughts? Please & Thank you.
  • Old car, new radiator, red or blue antifreeze? I have 2L Ford pinto engined car, i will replace radiator and lower-upper hoses. so, should i use blue antifreeze or red (organic). my engine is old but radiator will be new, Red cause leak? Shell branded antifreezes are good?
  • My ford ka blows out hot air even when the dial is placed on cold(the blue bit)? This has been happening for the last couple of days also the cigarette lighter stopped working at the same time
  • Want new headlights for my car, don't want the blue tint to the lights? I have a 2006 Ford Fusion I want to get new headlights I don't really know the difference between halos HIDs or LEDs or if there even is a difference. I'm looking at replacing the whole headlights not just the bulbs but I notice some newer headlights have the blue tint to them I want to stay away from that.
