As in the PCM? Try looking for a large, silver box under the driver side dashboard with a large wire connector or multiple connectors plugged into it. More than likely that will be it.
- What is the difference between a Electronic control module and Engine control module? I recently bought a cheap Ford Focus which was affected in floods… I got the water of the engine and pretty much all the places, all my lights and few other electronic functions work… But my engine doesn't turn on and my HUD is dead, but works on another car… What should i do?
- Is it possible to add cruise control just by replacing the steering wheel? I have a 2011 Ford Fiesta And someone told my husband that he can just hook up a new steering wheel and it will work, being that my car was standard before it was automatic is it even possible at all to add cruise control?
- What's the possibility that my Engine Control Computer is bad in my Ford F-150? I was deployed and just got back home after 3 years to my truck, and now when I try to turn the key to ON it blows my PCM Fuse, I hired a mechanic and the wire harness is good no shorts anywhere. It all seems to boil down to that. Possibly likely? What would cause it? Sitting in the sun for the 3 years? Truck is 35" lifted, its big had been baking in sun. 1999 Ford F-150 Lariat 4.6l V8
