There's a buzzer that should come on when the key is in and the engine is off or the engine is running and the door is opened. The key in switch has 2 white wires going to it. Open your steering cowl and you might find the connector is not connected.
- Where do i put in aw-46 hydraulic fluid in 1990 ford f600 dump truck? I believe it goes in somewhere under the dump box once lifted. is there a link to some specs that i could possibly print out so i can see where to fill it at?
- How to disconnect the door chime on my '98 Ford Mustang? I was able to locate the white chime box under the steering wheel area. How do I remove or disconnect it?
- How to disable the chime in a 2001 ford e150? I want to disable all chimes in the car. When the headlights are on, the car dings sporadically and it drives me nuts. Is there a fuse anywhere that I can remove or is there a more complex solution? I have removed the front plastic trim from the dash and am currently looking for the chime.
- Had my ford transit broken into, door peeled in half, what would people recommend, van alarm or deadlocks and door strengthening? My van door was peeled in Half from top to bottom and cleared of everything inside. I'm thinking of getting an alarm that will go off if van is shaken or movement inside but I think this might be too late and the door damage done. Would I be better off getting visual locks for thief's to see then have my door reinforced inside out by my friend who's a welder.
