Tire pressure on a F-150?

So I have a Ford F-150 2wd, and the tire says 80 psi, but the door says 38psi for (manufactured recommendation) what amount should I put in.

Go with the numbers on the placard (Manufacturer's Recommendation). The numbers on the tire are the MAXIMUM allowable for that particular tire.

NEVER fill your tires to the max listed on the tire. Always follow the truck mfgrs recommendations. Read this post on tire pressure

The tire says max, or maximum for that 80psi. If it's a P-metric tire, use the 38psi guide line. An LT-metric tire is a bit more robust than a passenger tire, and can safely use 42-44psi, but it won't ride or handle as well. 38psi for daily use.

Use the pressure on the door. That's what you need for the weight of YOUR vehicle.

The pressure on the tire is the MAX the tire is rated for. If it was on a different (heavier) vehicle, then you might use 50-60 lb, and that tire would still be OK with that pressure.

Why do you have E Load Range HD truck tires on a 1/2 ton truck designed for Standard Load Passenger Metric tires?

Until you get the correct tires on there you need to run 50 psi.

Sir,

Front Tyres Pressure 38 Psi Is Ok. But Rear Pressure 38+2=40 Is Ok.
