Better truck fors f150 or Toyota tundra?
I'm looking for a bigger pickup truck. I currently have a Toyota Tacoma and it's getting crammed In the back seat. I've narrowed it down to the Toyota tundra and Ford f150. Of these 2 trucks which is best overall and more reliable? I don't want to be in the shop all the time but I want something reliable, safe and love g lasting. It would be from 2006-2015 models all 4door 4x4.
Chev's have more room, so check them out as well.
Anything but Toyota and Nissan
Reliable 'n dependable 'n keeps resale value? Toyota hands down. If cheap price is your priority, then ford.
Before you buy == go test drive a Chevy 1500 and just compare the diff to Ford… If you treat any vehicle with respect you can drive nearly worry free [[[ regular maintenance required ]]] for about 200,000 miles == nobody says buy a Chevy or a GMC but you should at least test drive and see it…
4x4
I have a 07 Suburban LT with 180K miles on it, the truck drives like new with no oil leaks. I like GM, a far better and smoother riding truck! The 5.3 GM engine is easily good for 300K miles when serviced regularly, you'll be lucky to find many Ford truck owners that got over 180K without major engine work on the heads or blown out spark plug threads.
Toyota, buy foreign. HA
Tundra
There's a reason the Ford F-150 is americas best selling vehicle for 22 straight years.
- Is all Tundra 4x4's a Ford? And are the all Toyota's. I know this seem odd but I need to know? I'm thinking about a Tundra and I'm doing a little research, that's all.
- Toyota tundra or Ford f150? Years 2008-brabd new all in 4x4 4door models… Which one is best overall reliablity safety and all around better truck of these 2 and why?
- Is leasing a truck a better than buying a truck? Due to high maintenance costs and reliability issues is leasing better when you want to own a truck? Chevy Silverado Crew Cab 1500 $289 a month lease Dodge Ram Big Horn - $310 a month lease Ford F-150 - $299 a month lease
- Ford F150 3.5V6 vs 5.0V8 vs Toyota Tundra 4.6V8? I'm currently on the market for a 2013 truck. On average I don't even use the bed or a trailer. About once a week I tow about 1,000-1500lbs. Then about once a month I tow about 7-8,000lbs. Also, mountains and hills are normal for me. What are you thoughts?
