Should I buy a 2005 Ford Explorer?

It has 80000 miles on it but it runs very good and it's a v6 but it needs control arms and a sway bar and the roof has a little rust the guy will take $900 should I buy it?

$900? There has to be something more wrong then control arms and a sway bar.

To successfully sell a car that needs a new engine, new transmission and new tires, one points out the need for new tires to the potential buyer.

I'll bet there's about $4000 worth of work that the Explorer needs. Pay your trusted private mechanic to inspect it for you.

Wow, take it. Even if you need to spend 3 thousand more on it, still a good deal, but get a mechanic to inspect this to ensure that a more serious issue is not hiding.
