Then you have a short. You'll have to find out what's draining the battery
Measure the voltage at the battery with it running you should have at least 13.7 volts if so then your charging system is Ok and means you have something draining the battery. Until it gets fixed removing the battery cable for the night is easier that jump starting every day.
Excessive parasite draw, Defective Voltage Regulator, or as simple as a loose drive belt.
- New alternator and truck still dies? So the battery is good, and we bought a new alternator, but my truck still dies when we take off the positive cable and the battery light is on. What could be the problem? I have a 1993 ford ranger xlt

- New alternator and battery but battery still won't charge in my ford explorer 93? My battery wouldnt charge So i just replaced my alternator a few days ago knowing it would fix the problem. It appears that the alternator was not the problem. I've got a brand new alternor and when i check the battery(running car), it just stays on 12.5V and doesn't go up. I tried using it yesterday and it just drained out on me. I tried 3 good batteries already and checked if they charge in my car but they don't. Oh, the alternator came with a volt regulator.
