Does the V in the term SUV sometimes stands for Van?

Now there are 4 segments on Van Classification:

Mini Van

Sports Utility Vehicles (also called Sports Utility Vehicle or Sports Utility Van)

Delivery Vans

Commercial Full Size Vans

Now I put SUV in this group of vehicles (currently classified as light trucks) because SUVs are very similar to Vans as SUVs and minivans have the same carrying passenger space. And I see the tail lights on the Ford Explorer (1995-1997) Ford Econoline (1992-2006) and the Ford Excursion (2000-2005) are all the same tail lights on each different vehicle i listed. Now I believe Ford Explorers and other SUVs are Vans because they have the same space and cargo room like a van they share the same components and design features of a van and they're typically a family vehicle like a van. Does anybody agree with me that an SUV is a van?

P.S the V in the SUV turn sometimes stands for van

Does it matter? Someone somewhere coined the term SUV and the vehicle manufacturers have been using it ever since

Uhh, Yeah! Like what ever you say Dude! A SUV is van, , like yeah, it is a Van.
Volvo's are also Vans, it has a V in its name. They look like cars, but they are really car vans.

No such thing as a sport utility van.

Vehicles is V

Vehicle.

If anyone agrees with you than you're both wrong. An SUV and a van are two completely different vehicles. A van has a sliding side door. An SUV has doors like a car.
