That's a good question. You should contact an oxygen sensor manufacturer and ask. I know Bosch makes them, but I don't know who else.
Can, but not guarantee to work or if it'll fail again in a couple of month. If the sensor is hard to replace then you'll be doing the job twice.
Think some people soak it in gasoline. You can't just wipe off the carbon bc the sensor is shielded.
Have you ever *seen* an oxygen sensor? There's nothing cleanable. You have a sensing element, sealed in the case, and a couple of wires. It's either producing the correct voltage or it's not, and if it's not you get a new one.
Realistically, you're not going to be able to effectively clean them. They are basically exposed to the exhaust system (and it's inherent intense heat) for years. It's a much better idea to replace them when they go bad.
