What could it be and will my tire fall off?
I drive a Ford expedition 94 and I just recently changed my break and now there's a loud grinding noise when I slightly turn the wheel to the left. It clicked when you turn like the wheel is going to fall off. What could this be and is ok to drive another week till pay day? Will my tire fall off?
Check to see if you tightened the lug nuts evenly.
It is easy enough to check if the lug nuts are tight. Otherwise unless someone did something wrong with the brake job, It could be a front universal joint (happened on my 86 F150 4WD) or wheel bearing.
But how old are you that you do not know the difference between "brake" and "break" (look them up in an on-line dictionary)?
WTF are you doing playing with your brakes when you seem to have no clue about your vehicle?
did you put new rotors on? If not the rust on the rotor edges is grinding the new pads down.
