A bit big and cumbersome, but certainly would be safe.
It's big enough to keep the new driver safe, but it is big enough to cause more damage to other vehicles and people. You have to make the choice of protecting your own child at the cost of someone else's child.
I would start you on something the size of an escape… Cause that's a BIG SUV and if you only recently got your license and don't really know what you're doing with it then that's going to increase your chances of screwing up in it (especially in tight spaces like parking lots)
Personally I wouldn't let anyone drive that abomination.
Ford Expedition sounds pretty safe and fun. It could however be trouble some when changing lanes on the highway at first though, since older large SUV had some tiny side mirrors. If its new, you shouldn't have any problem cause I know SUV's nowadays are loaded with cameras and stuff. Just be careful and remember large vehicles require more attention and responsibility than driving a small car.
Well, if you do not know that model names of vehicles are proper names must be capitalized, Ford Expedition, then, no. You can't afford a Ford Expedition in financial aspects, driving experience aspects and even in the logical department aspect. Why get a vehicle that requires one gallon per each 9 miles travelled? Why buy get one the largest vehicles on planet Earth just to go to high school and scrape and damage it?

- Is the old Ford mondeo just a cross between a five hundred and focus? I was watching an old episode of top gear where Jeremy drove the mondeo st220. To me the car looks like the front end of an American 2005-2007 focus and the rest of the body looks like and an American five hundred. Does anyone else see the resemblance?
