Can I put 22 inch rims on a 1999 ford expedition without any modifications? - 1
The expected tires are 16 or 17 inch. You will need to LIFT the car in order to allow the bigger rims and tires. The several standard options for tires are:
Eddie Bauer 2-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive (P265/70R17)
Eddie Bauer 4-wheel drive or XLT 2-wheel drive (P255/70R16)
XLT 4-wheel drive (P265/70R17) or (P255/70R16)
Therefore, you will need to make some modifications to use those larger wheels and tires. 19 inch wheels are the largest you can use and have normal truck tires on your vehicle, without modifying the springs and suspension.
No cause this would be a modification
