A bad fuel pump, a short circuit, or an incorrect fuse value.
A fuse is a safety device which blows because the load or circuit is pulling too much current. Either the fuel pump has a bad coil or one of the wires, in the circuit, is frayed and contacting the car's chassis. I'd check the wiring and connections. If they prove to be in good shape then I'd look at replacing the fuel pump.

- Power steering pump burning fluid? I have a 1991 Ford Ranger. The engine was rebuilt so its at around 70,000 miles. I have to refill the power steering fluid a lot. Way more often then I should have to. I can't see any kind of a leak at all and no evidence of one. It also smells horribly burnt. Almost like the pump is just burning through the fluid. Any suggestions or ideas as to what this is and a possible fix?

- 03 ford Windstar engine keeps dying after it squells a little. I be live its the idler pully or P/S pump? Okay so I have a Windstar that died as I was driving it but it was making a belt squealing type noise I believe it could be either the idler pully or p/s pump. The pump rotates with a little bit of pressure of course then it will get a little stiffer then spin easy again. It keeps dying after a 30 sec to a minute of running and will sequel right before it does so. Any help would be nice thank you.
